CATWALK SONGS
White Lamp – Make It Good
We don’t know much about this duo but the beat is rather disco with a crisp synth and delicious soul vocals..thank us later.
Movement – Feel Real
2013’s Feel Real provides another sexy male vocal with a gradual base tempo increase. It’s enough to enhance the clothing and make the models more desirable.
RJD2 – Ghostwriter
A funky jazz catwalk beat from American producers RJD2 who released this tune in 2002. It is still used for film and advert soundtracks.
Nina Simone – Felix Da Housecat – Sinnerman
This song appears on the soundtrack to the famous painting scene in the Thomas Crowne Affair. You can sense almost sense the suspense and build up from the tempo of this track.
Cream – Whiteroom
White Room” is a psychedelic rock song from 1968 by British group Cream, written by bassist Jack Bruce and poet Pete Brown. It originally appeared on the US release of their double album, Wheels of Fire. Eric Clapton played overdubbed guitars for the track. It is a soundtrack made for advertising and film!
Julio Bashmore – Au Seve
We are taken back to summer when this club mix drops on a night out. Lyrically easy to remember, you may have to be restrained if this beat came on at your next catwalk event.
Joe Goddard – Gabriel
This 2011 track was forgotten far too quickly. The synthesised track with dreamy vocals can kickstart a young catwalk such as Topshop.
Zoo Brazil – There Is Hope
There is hope took the world by storm after it was used in the Dermablend advert featuring tattoo man Ricco the zombie. Vocals are heard from Rasmus Kellerman. More of a club/ibiza anthem, but should also be used in the fashion industry.
Air -Sexy Boy Remix (Sharam Jey Edit)
Famous 90’s film ‘Ten things I Hate About You’ made this tune a hit. This remix is more abstract than the original. The lyrics are repetitive but it works.
Pretty Lights Finally Moving
This was on the scene wayy before Flo Rida snapped it up
The Black Keys – Sister
This up beat tune would make a powerful strut down the catwalk. The rest of their new album El Camino has an essence of the clash making it a worthwhile listen.
Jean Jaques Smoothie – Two People
Absolute classic . We’re bringing sexy back (soundtrack) with this pick !

Awesome choices!
One of my favourite catwalk shows used ‘Peekaboo’ by Siouxie and the Banshees, the theme was pretty dark and Gothic, and the choreography was very funky and ‘broken’. The track went brilliantly with the theme.
fashionsoundtrack
Thanks will check it out !

I think for an Indie style collection, or even just a modern, colorful one, the dubstep remixes of acoustic songs would be perfect. Dubstep makes anything cooler π They’re suspenseful (sometimes) and perfect for having fun with the lighting!
fashionsoundtrack
Totally agree ! Slow songs mashed up are amazing !

Also, I really love Cold War Kids ^_^ good choice!
