Hello world, what a turbulent and confusing month it’s been. Sorry for the slight posting pause we’ve had. Like most people across the globe, we’ve been taking some time to reset and realise our values. We wish you all good health during the pandemic, both mentally and physically.
Music has been the real saviour of our isolation, it’s something that has brought our families together and united those who are experiencing loneliness. Curating and collaborating on nostalgic playlists, picking up old instruments and watching talent perform live on Instagram has been a collective of past times, with the common thread of sound.
James Blake is one of those performers who has been broadcasting his performances live from IG, during lockdown. These have already featured a 2-hour production masterclass, on top of career-spanning sets including fan favourites, intimate covers, and a further taste of brand new material.
‘You’re Too Precious’ marks Blake’s first release of 2020 and it’s a gorgeous, inventive track that carries our ears through the unpredictable weeks we’re currently experiencing.
