It’s been a while since we heard new music from Glass Animals – but now, after much suspicion from fans who thought they had noticed secret graphics and messages across their socials and then the appearance of a snazzy interactive website (www.glassanimals.com) they’ve dropped the incendiary, bass-heavy ‘Tokyo Drifting – a brand new track which features sensational American rapper Denzel Curry. ‘Tokyo Drifting’ is part of the band’s Fresh Fruit series of collaborations.
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the lat few year, Glass Animals are a British four-piece project led by singer, songwriter and producer Dave Bayley. Alongside his bandmates and childhood friends Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer and Drew Macfarlane.
Fun fact – their second album ‘How To Be A Human Being’ was one of the most critically acclaimed and widely adored records of 2016 and went on to be nominated for the Mercury Album Of The Year Award in 2017.
