This 15 year old phenomenon first appeared on TV screens during America’s Got Talent back in 2006 (she was only 12). Like most artists, separating oneself from commercial exposure, is a skill and she has managed to do that by justifying her talent through her excellent vocals and sophisticated material.
She now appeals to early musical adopters, especially those who might not know her across the pond. Discovering her voice was a true gift and then finding out how she arrived on the music scene, came secondary!
