Band of the week comprises of Belgium’s upbeat indie groovers, Balthazar. Who we first heard of back in 2015 with their work, ‘Thin Walls.’
Their latest album Fever, comes out on the 25th Jan 2019 and we’re gearing up for a beautiful set of vocals from Maarten Devoldere and Jinte Deprez.
We’d like to predict that these guys will one day headline BST concert in Hyde Park. They’re definitely in the ranks of Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys and Kings of Leon. You can imagine the speakers blaring the soul keys and groove across the crowd in central London.
If you’re like us and love the indie music scene from 2008, frequented the likes of Leeds and Reading Festival, then these guys will take you on a cinematic nostalgic road.
Their track ‘I’m Never Gonna Let You Down Again’ is our favourite from the album, so far. See track list below. They are also playing in London in February at Scala!
