She’s the epitome of music and fashion and has finally introduced us to her hidden talent, singing…
We can’t remember how we first discovered Cailin Russo, we imagine it was during a scrolling sesh on Instagram, where we finally paused our thumb at her account.
Since then, it’s been a case of love at first double tap, we love to see her retro style life unfold because she’s such an interesting character.
Russo’s the kind of girl who documents each day in an artistic and nostalgic manner, so it makes sense that she has gone down the music artist route. Not forgetting that it also runs in the family, as her father is punk band Unwritten Law frontman, Scott Russo.
Her debut track is the sexy and smooth September Rose. It hits hard, takes you on a journey and leaves you begging for another tune.
Cailin explained that “Roses don’t grow in September.” And “September Rose is about a young love relationship happening and isn’t working because it’s not the right time.” Which definitely rings true ,this subtle, powerful concept lies behind a song so laid back and summery, making for a rare and beautiful drama.
If you’re into a mix of jazz and soul then this ones for you….
