Producer David Gledhill began his SOULS project after he lost his wife. He has explored musical influences and rare vocal field recordings from 1920’s & 1930’s America. It’s an absolute pleasure to listen to this album and reminds us of Moby’s ‘Play.’
We don’t really know much about David, but we are eager for more material since stumbling across this gem.
In an interview, he commented that, ‘Life is very short – and love is absolutely crucial.’ Amen to that!
Expect uplifting themes of loss, self-belief and recovery…so bloody good.
