Spring is finally here and for our commute and general London gallivanting, we needed a new pair of kicks! Hurrah for our Huaraches!
Foot Locker presents the most exclusive sneakers with the biggest personalities this spring. A day has been dedicated to each of the greatest silhouette collections available at Foot Locker over the two week period.
You see, these are the hottest shoes this season, either the ones making headlines because of their long standing legacy like the Adidas Stan Smith or Nike Huarache or the brand new styles like the Adidas Tubular and Jordan Eclipses that are already making waves with the countries trendsetters.
These are the ‘exclusive sneakers with big personalities’ and you’ll only find them under one roof at Foot Locker with such unique personalities that they practically pick you! We couldn’t resist a pair of these heroic sneakers.
We chose the Huarache, or you could say the Huarache chose us! The Huarache was originally released by legendary Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield in ’91, Tinker was inspired to create the Huarache system after a water skiing trip when he noticed how nice and snug the neoprene water skiing boots felt.
I got stopped on route to town by a lady who wanted to know where my kicks where from!
They really do feel like slippers and have since reached cult status – they’re now available in a variety of on-trend colourways in foot locker including dark grey with crimson and all-white with pink highlights. These sneakers are so iconic, they don’t even feature a swoosh!
Others that we’ve got our eye on and wouldn’t mind a casual trainer affair with are the Adidas ZX Flux – the micro prism print is slightly elma the elephant meets psychedelic 60’s dancing.
