Cool wedding fairs are becoming almost like the very weddings that they rebelled against, a little bit cookie cutter, a little bit formulaic, you know what to expect and set in their ways. Well just like founder Becky Hoh-Hale thought bigger and a little different with her own wedding in 2008, she’s pushed her wedding fair above the parapet, letting it stand apart and do it’s own thing.
Trail blazers in the wedding world, Most Curious, the 100 exhibitor strong, biggest fashion, fun and design-led wedding show in the UK. Vendors are hand picked for their finger on the pulse and creativity in their hearts. Now in double figures with its tenth show, the fair prides itself on being the first of its kind to strip back the labels – vintage, alternative, designer, luxury – let’s just keep it simple: stylish, free spirited, now and next.
A celebration of the cool up and coming designers and makers in the wedding industry as well as the chicest of the big names, making for an explosion of inspiration for creative couples, with live music and exciting fashion shows throughout the day.
This year the show has cemented its hipster credentials with the Cereal Killer Cafe providing the in-house cafe for visitors to chow down on crunchy milky goodness while mulling over their bookings and purchases and ideas. The show will also have a Palm Springs theme with a beautifully styled catwalk by Frida + Florentina and several ‘Inspiration Installations’ by some of the creative creme de la creme in the industry, centred around the theme, to give you visual ideas for all aspects of your big day. Catwalk shows will wow, with hair and make up by Benefit and live music will punctuate the day. There will be a highly instagram-able Calligraphy Selfie Wall by Lamplighter London and a wild and seasonal Spring time floral archway by Harper’s Bazaar Top 10 florist Jo Flowers to lead you into the show!
