Yes London label Rinse have offered the industry Krystal Klear & Yasmin’s ‘One Night Only’ – the disco stalwart further hones his skills for crafting electrifying, nocturnal pop, and the kaleidoscopic video is the perfect accompaniment.
Krystal Klear has announced his next release for Rinse, the follow up to 2013’s explosive ‘Addiction’. Technicolour electronic funk odyssey ‘One Night Only’ is a collaboration with vocalist Yasmin. A kaleidoscopic slice of synthetic pop, it’s epic yet intricate, with Yasmin’s voice lit up by flashes of saturated colour and taut, punchy drums.
Based in Manchester, over the last few years Krystal Klear has been attracting attention for his unique brand of disco, house and boogie tracks, for labels including Eglo, All City and Rinse. A resident at the city’s renowned Hoya:Hoya club night, most recently he’s released a string of his own club-centric instrumentals through his newly founded label Cold Tonic.
‘One Night Only’, accompanied by remixes from Tuff City Kids and Marquis Hawkes, is his latest single on Rinse and like its predecessor ‘Addiction’ it finds him equally at home crafting electrifying, nocturnal pop. Its hyper-chromatic video, directed by Kevin Calero, perfectly captures the track’s aesthetic, evoking both packed dancefloors and entirely more intimate headspaces.
