Sometimes in our lives, tragedy surfaces without warning and puts our existence into perspective. Throughout this change, people channel their strength into sometime that gets them through the pain.
‘Bandages’ is a song written when Kyra faced a personal tragedy, losing her brother, who had just turned 26 to cancer. The time from diagnosis to death was just 3 months. Out of the time of sadness Kyra vented through songwriting and the ‘Bandages EP’ was created.
Co-written by Maiday (Girls Aloud, Leona Lewis) and Fred Cox (Etta Bond, MNEK) the signature track taken from the Bandages EP is a beautiful tale of comfort and hope in times of despair.
