For those who love Italian culture, look no further than a spectacular evening at Daphne’s in South Kensington.
Yes that’s correct, you only have to venture to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to experience Rome.
Last week, we were wined and dined all in the name of Peroni Nastro Azzurro for a delightful evening centred around memories of Italian arts, architecture, music and food.
We went to Daphne’s to celebrate Peroni Nastro Azzurro launching their second bottle innovation – Alta – the new 750ml sharing bottle created to be enjoyed, together. Clearly created with Italian passion and attention to detail the 750ml bottle certainly brought Italian style to our dining table. 8 cocktails and 8 courses later amongst rustic plates of risotto to finely crafted regional specialities like carpaccio finally ending with cheese and honey.
The setting was also truly spectacular and highlights included the pink marble topped bar, vintage Italian 1950s Murano glass chandeliers and a perceptively curated collection of European modern art adorning the walls. The dazzling bar, inspired by the Venetian drinking dens of the Grand Tour, was ideal for dining for up to 14 people.
The next Sharing Stories will take place on Wednesday 26th November at Daphne’s in South Kensington.
Peroni Nastro Azzurro will be hosting a unique dinner entitled ‘Sharing Stories: An Italian Dining Experience’ at iconic London restaurant Daphne’s to celebrate the launch of Alta, the new sharing bottle from Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Alta has been created with Italian passion and attention to detail, bringing Italian style to the dining table.
Guests who purchase tickets to Sharing Stories will be treated to a multi course menu created by Daphne’s Head Chef, Michael Brown, which will bring to life the diners’ most memorable Italian experiences through taste, smell and sound. The entire night will be created from the diners’ impressions of Italy, with each course inspired by a different guest’s memory . These will also shape the cocktails, décor and music for the evening giving guests an entirely bespoke experience. Through each story of inspiration, Sharing Stories provides a great opportunity for diners to discover more about their fellow guests and share in their own experience through a fully immersive dining experience.
