After its London event at Village Underground, in partnership with Field Day and its Italian previews (in Milan and Siena, in collaboration with MiTo and Siena 2019), Alfa MiTo Club To Club returns to Torino, Italy from 5th to 9th November 2014, showcasing the very best in contemporary electronic music, arts and culture. One of the premier European festivals dedicated to electronic music (with over 35,000 people attending the previous edition), Alfa MiTo Club To Club’s 14th edition, #C2C14, coincides with the week in which Torino plays host to the high profile Torino Piemonte Contemporary Arts Week. For the sixth consecutive year, Alfa MiTo Club To Club has been chosen as the best international festival of the season by Resident Advisor, the leading online magazine for electronic music: Club To Club was the best event in its November/December Top 10, which includes renowned festivals in Australia, USA, Iceland, Argentina, Belgium and the Netherlands, “For one week of the year, Torino becomes Europe’s most thriving hub for forward-thinking electronic sounds. This is thanks, of course, to Club To Club.” 
Over the course of 5 days, Alfa MiTo Club To Club brings together more than 100 hours of music with over 50 artists from 12 countries and 4 continents: USA, UK, Canada, Kuwait, Russia, Australia, Germany, Norway, France, Spain, Sweden, Lebanon, and Italy. Amongst the headliners, SBTRKT (who’s just released his much-awaited 2nd album ‘Wonder Where We Land’), Caribou (whose new album Our Love recently broke into the UK top ten), Jungle (whose album is shortlisted for the 2014 Mercury Prize), Apparat, Chet Faker, cult Italian artist Franco Battiato, Marcel Dettmann, Pantha Du Prince, Kode9 and Laurel Halo (the latest two in the Italian exclusive of HYPERDUB 10 at Teatro Carignano). 
More than just a series of live performances, #C2C14 is a unique opportunity to celebrate creativity across contemporary electronic music and visual arts in Northern Italy’s cultural capital Torino; a city with a reputation as Italy’s foremost future sound laboratory. That’s why the new edition also encompasses an assortment of music and culture based meetings, workshops and presentations in some of Torino’s most stunning locations. 
In addition to the return of A Great Symphony For Torino, a new format conceived for British Council in which young Italian and international producers, coordinated by an extraordinary tutor such as Kode9, compose a soundtrack for the city landmarks in “augmented reality” (agreatsymphony.net), there will be two ambitious and innovative projects defining this edition: AbsolutSymposium, a new format created by Club To Club, who wants to actualize the definition of symposium by turning a 4-star hotel (the AC Hotel Torino in the Lingotto area) into the festival’s beating heart, its headquarters and round the clock meeting place for fans and professionals, which will present live shows, talks with artists, installations, interviews, and screenings. Berlin Wall 25, a double event (as a preview of ‘Torino incontra Berlino 2015’) to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, with a full day of activities in the San Salvario neighbourhood. Alfa Romeo MiTo is pleased to confirm in 2014 its title partnership with Club To Club festival, sharing more and more its innovative and cutting-edge spirit, and its “rock” attitude. Club To Club this year also consolidates its partnership with Red Bull Music Academy: on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th November, the Red Bull Music Academy Stage at Lingotto will feature Ben Ufo b2b Ron Morelli (world debut), Kelela, Millie & Andrea, Fatima Al Qadiri, Jessy Lanza, Ninos Du Brasil, Jacques Greene, Kele, Tiger & Woods, Vessel, Visionist, Vaghe Stelle, Lorenzo Senni. Furthermore, Alfa MiTo Club To Club and the extraordinary Field Day will team up once again on 7th November after their collaborative London event, co-presenting the main stage of Lingotto at the festival in Torino, featuring the likes of Caribou, Pantha du Prince, Jungle, Talaboman, Evian Christ and many more. Renewing its partnership with the festival, leading online electronic music magazine Resident Advisor presents the Hiroshima Mon Amour stage on Thursday 6th November. The RA showcase will see Australian composer Ben Frost perform his new live show, with support from hypnotic Italian duo Primitive Art and another special guest TBA. For the first time in 2014 Alfa MiTo Club To Club partners with Bleep.com, leading online boutique store for independent music. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Bleep.com will present a showcase on the festival’s main stage at Lingotto on Saturday 8th November featuring Clark with his new a/v show, electronic veteran Luke Vibert, transglobal collective Future Brown and Bleep djs. More details regarding the partnership will be unveiled in the forthcoming weeks. The theme for the 14th festival edition is The Trojan Horse: a symbol both mythological and contemporary, representing the will of Club To Club Alfa MiTo to influence, through its mix of unmissable acts and unique locations, a wider audience with avant-pop culture. “Fads and trends developing in the underground” -says Sergio Ricciardone, the festival’s art director- “replicate into the mainstream until they become massive, just like the Trojan Horse is introduced to hide itself and replicate up to take control.
