Rock n Roll brand ALLSAINTS have released the next instalment of their photography series of inspiring creatives and musicians this October with the BIKER PORTRAIT SERIES PART II featuring some of the hottest musicians to emerge on the New York music scene.
The city that never sleeps is home to some awesome acts! This latest portfolio is a photographic project that sees the Big Apple’s most exciting new bands captured wearing the brand’s iconic biker jackets. The fashion and music line-up includes Skaters,Drowners, IO Echo, Wet, ASTR, and Haunted Hearts featuring Dee Dee Penny from Dum Dum Girls.
Other inspiring creatives were involved in the campaign and it was produced in collaboration with Bon Duke, the co-founder and co-curator of the New York Fashion Film Festival. One for the culture vultures, the series focuses on some of the most cutting edge bands from the city.
The artists put their stamp on the campaign and personally selected their favourite ALLSAINTS biker jacket for the shoot. Behind the scenes all band members discuss the most memorable live gig they’ve ever attended, prompting lively recollections of the Wu-Tang Clan in Oslo, Morrissey wooing rioting Londoners, Prince conquering Madison Square Garden, and The Cramps’ manic self-destruction in San Diego.
The definitive ALLSAINTS article, each biker jacket featured in the portfolio encapsulates the spirit of rebellion. Crafted from lightweight Italian nappa, unwashed lambskin and European suede, the iconic styles are individually laundered and hand-treated for a vintage aesthetic. Available in store and online at Allsaints.com now.
Wil Beedle, Creative Director said “the leather jacket has always epitomised freedom and musical rebellion through great craftsmanship – all things that are key to the spirit of AllSaints. From the heart of London to the heart of New York, we’re excited to see our signature look brought alive by the most dynamic bands around.”
