This week we got some carnival style inspiration from Daniella and Chantelle!

Last weekend saw us getting low and bogling to some of the best reggae tunes at the famous Notting Hill carnival.

Now, we all know Monday was a wash out to say the least, so thankfully with the help of the BBC weather we decided to attend carnival on the Sunday. Unfortunately, being veterans of the carnival – attending every year since we were wee children we opted out of bringing our monstrosity of a camera along for the ride, and decided to take a good few decent shots of our vivid carnival outfits beforehand.

Chantelle loves colour and will use any excuse to wear as may colours at one time whenever she can. The vibrant block colours complemented one another well, ensuring the whole combination wasn’t a colour overload. Her Zara fuchsia light jacket was a bargain costing only £15. Sweet!

Danniella fitted the carnival mood perfectly with her long braided Solange inspired lock. Wearing shorts was a MUST for carnival and Dan decided to opt for a structured fit to give her the freedom to buss a likkle whine. Her floral printed shirt was used to layer and her accessories tied the whole look together along with the red lip – classic.
