Aside from Wilderness, last weekend was also all about Beacons festival in the Yorkshire Dales. Neneh Cherry, Daughter, Jon Hopkins, British Sea Power, Joan As Police Woman, Charli XCX plus many more big names serenaded the crowds in the British countryside.
Beacons is also a platform for ideas, art and creativity. It is a place where emerging talent can realize their work with a receptive audience, alongside exhibits from established artists. Alongside the Into the Woods stage and the Space Between Arts Field. Heslaker farm in Skipton basked in the sun/rain alongside epic food joints such as Mumma Schnitzel, Patty Smith’s Burgers and Las Paelleras.
Neneh Cherry closed the show leaving the 7,000 attendees wanting more….
