The Fractures EP (out July 7) has been some time in the works, following the indefinite hiatus Fractures was forced on late last year, when- in a cruel case of life imitating art- Zito suffered a near fatal fall. The accident left him with a fractured neck, needing to spent 3 months confined to an orthotic halo in hospital. Zito wrote material for the EP during this time, so it’s something that plays out interestingly across the EP’s lyrics and imagery.
