Newcastle born Mo Parker manages to unite dark, emotive soul with deep, reflective lyrics that explore the combination of desolation and promise.
The online debut is the primary taster of impending material from his forthcoming EP, a collaborative effort with production partner Domzilla – BMG (Lulu James and Wu Tang). The principles behind their music are largely based around space, atmosphere, and depth – they don’t overcrowd the production, but instead use minimal instrumentation. This is clearly done to give the melody and vocal as much space as possible, creating a very modern sound.
