If there was ever a fashionable reason to workout and get fit then it’s this stunning partnership between Nike and Yuko Kanatani……
The first Nike Tight of the Moment of 2014 marks a change of direction for the popular series, as Nike partnered with Yuko Kanatani for the latest design, the Nike Magical Kaleidoscope tights. This is the first time Nike has collaborated with an independent artist on the Tight of the Moment concept.
Known for a fun, playful and brightly-colored style of art, Yuko was asked to create aesthetics that were true to her artistic style but also would beautifully fit into a body map provided by the Nike Sport Research Lab. The result is three pieces — Nike Pro Tights, Nike Pro Sports Bra, Nike Studio Wrap Pack — that feature uniquely good looks and Yuko’s signature style, rendered in a way that accentuates the natural curves and motion of the body.
All three pieces were available in China and Sweden on January 28, before launching globally on Nike.com. And stay tuned for two more tight designs by Yuko Kanatani, debuting in the coming weeks.
