This week we asked Make Me Up professional makeup artist Lily Keys to show you how to create a bold look with red lips and dark eyes inspired by pop icon Jessie J. Even though the star recently shaved off her luscious locks for charity, we’re going back to her memorable sleek look. Smoky eyes and contoured cheekbones watch the video to re-create Jessie’s look.

Step 1: Apply Foundation
Take a foundation brush and apply Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation Intensity One to the skin working outwards. Then take Estee Lauder Double Wear and Maximum Cover Foundation on the brush and apply to any blemished areas.
Step 2: Eyebrows
Define and tidy the eyebrows using Eyko Brow gel.
Step 3: Add Mascara
Cover the top and bottom lashes with the Eyko mascara.
Step 4: Eye Shadow
Take Bobbi Brown Woodrose eye shadow and take the colour over the lid. Then add Bobbi Brown Black Cherry eye shadow along the lash line but concentrating the colour on the outer socket corner.
Step 5: Add Eye Liner
Line the MAC Teddy Eye Liner along the top lash line and lower outer corners in short feathery strokes.
Step 6: Back To The Eye Shadow
Take the Bobbi Brown Caviar on a small eye shadow brush and use the colour to blend the eye liner.
Step 7: Add False Lashes
Apply Eylure False Lashes to the lash line.
Step 8: Add More Liner
Line the upper lash line with L’Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim Liquid Eye Liner, creating a flick in the outer corner. Then take the Eyko Skinny Eye Liner and add little dots along the lower waterline.
Step 9: Apply Lip Colour
Apply MAC Mac Red lip colour to the lips and then line them with MAC Cherry lip liner.
Step 10: Add Blusher
Brush on some blusher to the cheek bones in a slight ‘c’ shape.
Step 11: Set Your Makeup
Brush on MAC Prep And Prime Translucent Power to set your makeup.
