AHMAGADD Valentino, thank you for this majestic show! Pretty plaited models walked down the runway in Paris wearing a variety of Balkan-style ethnic patterns. This looked more like a couture collection, but more affordable and accessible!
Valentino is known for it’s glamorous and demure fashions, this season was more urban and youthful. This was evident in the music change, beginning with arias from Bellini’s opera Norma and Puccini’s Tosca, ending with a modern day beat. Valentino will always have a loyal opera following so it does them no harm to appeal to the younger market through the use of hip hop tracks.
