A catwalk inspired by reality television talent show’s took place at Paris Fashion Week. The models performed a short act to a pretend panel of judges who held up ‘no,’ ‘boring,’ or ‘so so’ cards.
There was also an interesting influence from 1960’s musical, Grease, with a Sandy/Danny duo, Danny played by Coco Rocha. Elsewhere in the collection was strong hip hop and flapper direction, not forgetting the tango outfits.
Jean Paul Gaultier danced down the runway with Bianca Li. Let’s not forget Gaultier’s slated show last year, his Amy Winehouse tribute was taken out of context by the Winehouse family.
