My Crazy Scrunchie have moved away from their urban fashion routes and opted for rural screenplay. Last week we showed you how MCS filmed “brunette” model Alice Dellal taking over the streets of London with her hispanic chicas see here (both films are directed by Mathew Wilkinson).
This time the “Las Bandidas” film is very “blonde” and shows Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse and Clara Paget conquering the wilderness. MCS have customised the style of an original western movie. The brand even manage to replace the paramount crest with their scrunchie logo. Super imposed models contrast a backdrop of genuine western film shots, which remind us of the fake elements that a 1912 motion picture embodied. The girl’s style effectively portrays the semi nomadic wanderer with their revolvers and bandanas. We appreciated the designated smoking notice prior to the film, a comical take on the fact that people believed smoke couldn’t travel across the auditorium. The desolate landscape, brawling and shooting are soundtracked by the King Rooster track – State Of Emergency. MCS London have once again made us 90’s nostalgic. Watch out for the early adopters, they’re bound to be scrunching their hair up with these headpieces.
