Fashion house, Chloe are celebrating their 60th anniversary with a number of short films. There are 26 films to be precise, all of which represent a letter from the Alphabet. This concept was inspired by Chloe founder, Gaby Aghion, through her habit of alphabetized naming for collections and garments. The films act as an archive for previous campaigns, interviews, music and photographs. Of course we picked out the musical documentary! Watch Chloe music DJ’s John Gosling and Seb Chew discuss soundtrack choices and hip-hop influences. In the past Chloé events have soundtracked live performances from Kylie Minogue, Bryan Ferry, The Kills and Janelle Monáe. The DJ duo have constructed a “Best of Chloé” mix featuring top catwalk tunes. Put your headphones on and appreciate soul, funk, hip hop and house fashion tracks.
Go and check out the exhibition in the Palais de Tokyo in the Saut du Loup gallery.
We were also fans of the letter L which shows a light inspired film that was commissioned by the brand. Stunningly scenic and produced by Stéphanie Di Giusto.

Gaby Aghion has named designs after some of her adored composers and musicians, ranging from Debussy to Dylan. Their 2007 campaign (below) has never dated. The vintage lens effect has only recently caught on with highstreet campaigns and the dresses are still avant garde. We remember seeing this in a 2007 edition of Lula magazine and wanting to re-create the shoot with our friends!
