Andy Williams – Our Huckleberry Friend Passes Away

In memory of our favourite crooner, Andy Williams who died on Tuesday 25th September 2012 at the age of 84. The vocalist tragically passed away yesterday after his battle with bladder cancer. Williams was a slick man about town providing us with classics like Music to Watch Girls Go By, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Where Do I begin (Love Story Soundtrack) and Moon River. Andy performed his rendition of “Moon River” at the Academy Awards in 1962. The song was originally written by Johnny Mercer and Henry Macini for Audrey Hepburn in the film “Breakfast at Tiffanys.” Williams was our favourite 1960’s singer no one can forget his style and charisma, please enjoy our tribute of tracks to him below.
