We can’t escape the constant interest in the celebrity. It has become part of our culture. This free people campaign looks like a documentary about the rise and fall of a famous star. It could be likened to the turmoilous relationship of Kate Moss and Pete Doherty or Winehouse and Blake. Here the rock and roll lifestyle is still glamourised all in the name of fashion. Models are Martha Hunt (Moss’s identical twin?) and Danny Fox. Both are obviously too sweet in real life as shown by the apology at the end of the film. Karlie Kloss and Freja Beha have also modelled for Free People. This is a fantastic way to showcase the entire collection. Don’t blame the photographer, blame society.
