Azealia Banks is an acquired music taste. She caught the attention of Karl Largerfeld at the beginning of 2012. Her first video showed her in her token Minnie Mouse jumper and began the RnB hipster trend of the year. This 80’s style hip hop girl was then named the muse of Alexander Wang, she starred in his video for Jersey T-shirts to this track Van Vogue. The 21 year old from Harlem is at the opposite end of the spectrum from Lana Del Rey. Azealia is the kooky songstress who has been criticised for her foul language but still seems to make a mark on the fashion world.
